Patricia R. Gregg, 77, of Scranton, died Saturday morning at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton.
Born in Scranton, the daughter of the late Francis and Ann Rogan, she was a graduate of South Catholic High School. After graduating, she moved to Maryland and worked as a flight attendant in Washington, D.C., with Eastern Airlines. Later, she became the HR director for Scranton Dry Goods and then pursued a successful career in retail management. She was a member of Nativity of Our Lord Church, St. John Neumann Parish, Scranton.
Surviving Patricia are a daughter, April Gregg-Bednash, Greenfield; a son, Bart Gregg, Charlotte, N.C.; three granddaughters, Marina, Alyssa and Haley Bednash, Greenfield; and a sister, Frances Waltz, Newton Ransom.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, William Rogan.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 9:30 a.m. in the Nativity of Our Lord Church, St. John Neumann Parish, 633 Orchard St., Scranton, to be celebrated by the Rev. Michael Bryant, pastor. Interment will take place alongside her mother and father in St. Catherine’s Cemetery later this spring.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
