Doreen Henderson, of Scranton, passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at home after a brave battle with cancer. She is the widow of the late John Henderson, her husband of 47 years.
Born in Newark, NJ she was the daughter of the late Jerome and Anna Plotkin.
Doreen is survived by her four children, Debora Henderson, Scranton; John David and Steven, Scranton, Joseph and wife Kaylie, Tunkhannock; her sisters Sarah Vandermark, Scranton, Edith Sembrot and her husband Bill, Taylor; her brothers Allen Plotkin, Scranton; John Plotkin, Moosic; fifteen grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death her brother Melvin Plotkin.
