Born Sept. 11, 1948 in Scranton, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Jessie and Anthony Libassi of Scranton, Pa.
Aggie worked as an OR nurse at the Washington Hospital Center in Washington D.C. for 25 years. Surviving are her three children, Kristin Meola and husband, David, of Scranton, Pa.; John Westerhoff of Hendersonville, N.C.; and Jenny Westerhoff of Calif.; a sister, Pearl Snelling and husband, Steven, of Eidson, Tenn.; goddaughter, Jennifer Esken; niece Morgan Westerhoff; many cousins, friends, and her pride and joy, her “babies,” her grandchildren, Olivia and Max Meola of Scranton, Pa., whom she loved to spoil with trips to “Hands-On” and “O.P. Taylor’s Toy Store” in North Carolina.
A memorial Mass will be held Saturday, March 6, at 10 a.m. at St. Paul Church, 1510 Penn Ave., Scranton, PA 18509.
