Marion A. Strauch, 96, a lifelong resident of Scranton, died Tuesday morning at Mountain View Care Center, where she was a resident. She is the widow of the late Herbert R. Strauch who died in 1994. The couple was married 53 years.
Born in Scranton daughter of the late Walter and Alice Warman Kuhn she was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School. She was a member of the Grace Reformed Episcopal Church, Scranton.
Surviving are two daughters Bonnie Slater, Scranton, Laurel Clay, Martinsburg, WV; a son David Strauch, Portland, ME; four grand children Sheri LaCoe, Jill Waterloo, Steven Silvestro, Gregory Silvestro; two great grand children Julia and Thomas LaCoe; a several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister Edna Blackledge and two brothers William and Lester Kuhn.
A Memorial Service will be held Thursday at 11:00 am in the Corey Brian Strauch Services, LLC, funeral home location, 602 Birch Street, Scranton, PA 18505.
