My sincere condolences to you and your family. I worked in the same department as Kirk at Arris. Although never having met him personally, I had the pleasure of being on many project conference calls with him. He was always great to talk to and very knowledgeable and helpful. He will be missed greatly.

I worked with Kirk for many years and considered him to be among the best and brightest engineers I’ve had the pleasure of working with. When not discussing the latest WiFi specs and trends, we also enjoyed discussing things not related to work such as anything with an internal combustion motor. I will sorely miss Kirk, godspeed my friend. We love you.
