Judith Pluko
Judith Pluko, 73, of Scranton, a long time resident of Dunmore, died Wednesday in Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton.
Born in Scranton, the daughter of the late Andrew and Beatrice Wardell Paranich she was a graduate of Dunmore High School. She worked as a book binder at Hadden Craftsmen.
Surviving are a daughter Paulette Daugherty and husband Allan, Scranton; a son Stephen Pluko, Scranton; sisters Nancy Bannon, Dunmore, Norma Jean Paranich, Dunmore; a brother Robert Paranaich, Scranton; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother Bill Paranich.
Judith’s family would like to extend a sincere thank you to Dr. Salvatore Lawrence, the Staff of Geisinger CMC’s 4th floor and the staff of the Linwood Nursing Home for the wonderful and compassionate care given to Judith during her final days.
The funeral will be Saturday at 9:30am in the Corey Brian Strauch Services, LLC, funeral home location, 602 Birch Street, Scranton, PA 18505. Interment to follow in the Dunmore Cemetery.
A viewing will be held Friday from 5-8pm in the funeral home.
