Jose Vidal Mejia Barbahona, 64, of Scranton, passed away Wednesday morning at Geisinger Community Medial Center, Scranton. He is the husband of Maria Angela Martinez.
Born in Honduras he was the son of Alejandro Mejia and Virginia Barahona.
Jose Vidal was a fun person who loved to dance, and enjoyed watching soccer. Jose was a coffee lover which he enjoyed every morning…grilled corn and beans with rice were his favorite meals and tamales.
A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10:00am in the Saint Paul of the Cross Parish at Sacred Heart of Jesus and Mary Church, 1221 Prospect Ave., Scranton, PA 18505.
A viewing will be held Friday evening from 4-7 PM in the Corey Brian Strauch Funeral Home, 602 Birch Street, Scranton, PA 18505.
