Hau Tran
Hau Tran, 64 of Old Forge, died Saturday, in the Celtic Hospice In-Patient Unit, Wilkes Barre. His wife is Mori Ly.
He was born in Saigon, Vietnam, son of the late Tran Tu and Nguyen Thi Thuong. He served with the South Vietnamese Army as a Para Trooper during the Vietnam War. He came to the United States in 1975 and settled in the area. For over 34 years he worked for Silgan Closures in Hazelton. He was a hard worker and enjoyed time with his friends.
Surviving in addition to his wife is his daughter Kim Tran, CA.
The funeral will be Thursday at 10:00am in the Corey Brian Strauch Services, LLC, funeral home location, 602 Birch Street, Scranton, PA 18505. Interment to follow in Dunmore Cemetery.
A Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5-8pm in the funeral home.
